Live the season to the fullest with a Garden Card!

For the 2023 season, we are trialing a new, pre-paid card subscription program. This year, you can enjoy all the bounty of the season with a Groundhog Gardens Garden Card!

With a Garden Card, you enjoy all the advantages of a CSA share (or a panier de légumes subscription as we say in Québec): the pleasure of living and eating with the rhythm of the seasons, enjoying the freshest produce possible, and discovering new vegetables or new varieties of your old favorites.

But the Garden Card also offers you a new level of flexibility: it’s a pre-paid card that you get to use when you want, to buy what you want, in whatever amount you want.

The Garden Card is valid at both of our salespoints: our farmstand on the farm itself in Bromont and at the Buvanderie in the Mile End, Montreal.

With a Garden Card, there is no need to schedule your vacations on a delivery calendar or to let us know in advance when you will or will not show up!

Plus, to thank you for supporting the farm, we add a 5% bonus to every Garden Card subscription !

{ Produce available }

In 2023, we will be growing 30 different vegetables and culinary herbs!

All our produce is available on a seasonal basis.

That means some vegetables are available from the very first farmstand of the year to the very last (such as radishes), while other are available in the summer and early fall (the much-loved tomatoes, cucumbers, zuchinni, eggplants, and peppers) and others still are available only in the cool seasons of spring or fall (such as arugula, bok choi, and a few others).

During the height of the season (mid-July through September),  around 20 different products will be available every week.

You can see the list of everything we will be growing this year here!

The bonus applies when you recharge your card as well ;)

{ The fine print }

  • To avoid the loss of cards and any inconvenience in the event that you forget your card, Groundhog Gardens will hold onto all of our clients’ Garden Cards at all times. We will bring them with us to every farmstand, so that all you have to do is show up! This also allows us to easily let you know your card balance from afar, by email or phone call for instance, if you ask us for that information between farmstands.

  • Garden Cards are valid only at the Groundhog Gardens salespoints mentioned above. We may from time to time add salespoints at which Garden Cards will be accepted (for instance, a farmers’ market).

  • Garden Cards cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded. It is your responsibility to spend the full amount on your card at our farmstands.

  • An unused balance at the end of the season may be rolled over to the following season. Unused balances will not be refunded, nor can they be advanced forward more than one season (i.e. you cannot use a balance left over from 2023 in 2025, only in 2024).

  • You may transfer your card to a third party if you no longer wish or are able to use it. You must advise us of any card transfer in advance and in writing.
